Kima is not a monkey.  She is one of our most popular kinkajous born right here at the Wild Wonders wildlife education center.  Although she looks a lot like a monkey she is actually related to the raccoon.  Kima has been an education ambassador since she was just a few months old. Kima, like all kinkajous, loves sweet fruit and enjoys hanging by her tail to eat it. She is the most acrobatic of all our kinkajous and is very playful and sweet. She loves her cheeks rubbed and closes her eyes and sighs whenever she gets this personal attention. She and our family of 9 kinkajous are very active and need a constant supply of new toys to keep them occupied at night, as they are very busy nocturnal animals. Kima and her brothers and sisters are all amazing and popular education animals. They spend many hours a week teaching children and adults why they are important to the rainforest.
