Dolce came to Wild Wonders in the spring of 2009 as an abandoned animal. She was found in a sewer drain right here in San Diego County. She was emaciated, scared, and very hungry. With daily handling and a consistently healthy carnivore diet, Dolce has gained weight and built up her muscles. Whenever trainers or volunteers come near, she makes her cute baby alligator sounds. She has become a strong little alligator, showing off for visitors and school children alike.

Dolce is a young alligator that is rapidly growing and will not stop until she tops out at 15 ft & 1000lbs. Just last year we moved Dolce to a larger outdoor enclosure with a pool and she already needs an even larger pond to call her own! Help us get Dolce a pond she can grow into by adopting her today.
