Hands on San Diego a success, thanks to Hewlett Packard employees
Wild Wonders and Zoofari would like to thank the dedicated employees of Hewlett Packard. Approximately 50 HP employees donated their services over a 3 day period to help us Beautify our Zoo! They planted over 40 plants, bushes, and trees, installed 700 square feet of sod, painted enclosures, and helped hang mesh netting over our cat exercise area. "What would have taken us six months or more to accomplish was finished in three days. That's an amazing accomplishment," stated Jackie Navarro, executive director. The HP employees adopted Zoofari and Wild Wonders as part of a week-long project called Hands on San Diego, sponsored by Volunteer San Diego.
Our landscaping projects would not have been possible without the generous donations from the following San Diego Nurseries:
Tropic World
Walter Anderson Nursery
Horakh's Nursery
Las Pilitas Nursery
West Coast Turf
Kniffing's Nursery
