Today was another hot one up here at Wild Wonders. Luckily, we were able to make the best of it and give our animals some fun cold treats to cool them off.
Sitka the Arctic Fox got a Jack-o-lantern stuffed to the brim with snow, ice, and frozen goodies.

Some of our animals, like Tater Tot the Porcupine, just enjoyed having a nice cool ice water bottle to snuggle with.
Today Sitka the Arctic Fox got a treasure box full of snow and ice. We hid some fun treats inside and watched him happily dig!
Here at Wild Wonders we depend on the help of our incredible team of volunteers to keep our animals happy and healthy. We have over 20 volunteers who all come from different backgrounds and each greatly contribute to our success.
Being a volunteer is hard work, but the rewards are great! Here are a few pictures of some of our volunteers with their favorite animals.
If you would like to volunteer, visit our website and submit an application.
Sitka, the Arctic Fox, got to join in on the pumpkin fun too!! His tactic is to dive right in and go straight to the good stuff…then rip the pumpkin to shreds.
