At Wild Wonders we love working with and training our animals! Every day, after the hard work is done, we spend time playing with the whole zoo! For example, one of our long-term volunteers Becky loves to train our serval, Siri. In this video, Becky convinces Siri to play and exercise! If you have a pet cat at home, you know how hard it can be to get your cat to exercise, especially in the summer! But Becky has a great relationship with Siri, and convinced her to move around and play…at least a little!
If you want to meet Siri or any of our animal at Wild Wonders, feel free to contact us! You can come to us for tours or camps, or we’ll come to your school, library, event, or even birthday party! Or if you want your wild experience to be a little longer, check out our volunteer and intern programs!
After all our hard work is done we finish off with the best part of the day. Spending time with animals of course! This time of the day allows us to build important relationships with some incredible animals. Check out some pictures of our animal ambassadors enjoying an afternoon snack! You can get involved by volunteering or starting an internship just by checking out the website at www.wildwonders.org

SDGE came to Wild Wonders in May to help beautify our wildlife education facility. They planted many trees, flowering plants, and succulents throughout the 4.5 acres. Their Volunteer day certainly gave back to the animals and our future visitors. The animals showed their appreciation by showing off for the kids. Thank you SDGE!!!!!!
Here at Wild Wonders we depend on the help of our incredible team of volunteers to keep our animals happy and healthy. We have over 20 volunteers who all come from different backgrounds and each greatly contribute to our success.
Being a volunteer is hard work, but the rewards are great! Here are a few pictures of some of our volunteers with their favorite animals.
If you would like to volunteer, visit our website and submit an application.
