Just Another Day at the Office

It will amaze you just how much work goes into a 10 minute TV segment. A lot of time is dedicated to these great performance and making sure they run as smooth as possible.

In this very special Tonight Show episode with Conan O’Brien. Brandon McMillianand Conan get up close and personal with Pugsley, our 14 ft albino Burmese python. You have seen videos of him chowing down on his lunch, you have seen him stretched out in the sun, but I am sure you have never seen Puglsey like this. Even Conan was surprise by his strength.

Jackie, the Director of Wild Wonders, and Kim, the Animal Care and Program Supervisor, made the short trip up to LA Universal Studio where they prepared all the animals for their star appearance on the Tonight Show. Each animal goes through rehearsals then a quick break before their big debut. It is important to keep them relaxed but energized so they put on a great show.

Watch for Kim and Jackie as they make an appearance carrying in Pugsley.

Show Update

I checked all over the Bonnie Hunt website for a great video of all the animals that made it on to Bonnie Hunt but sadly the only one is of the Capibera. But watch closely in the beginning and you can see Forrest and Kim walking off set.

Bonnie Hunt Meets Giant Rodent

All the animals did a fantastic job. Forrest and him gummy worm were definitely a highlight of the show. Along with Tinkerbell trying to hug the host, Brandon McMillan (Tink is such a love muffin). Raji had a small part but she definitely caught the attention of the audience. She was cute sitting on the big couch. Thanks to everyone for making the trip to LA run smoothly.

PS. We are headed to “The Insider” so keep your eyes peeled for the episode.

Bonnie Hunt

We did it, Hooray.

All our animals that made the trip to LA yesterday will be on the Bonnie Hunt show today. It airs at 2pm in San Diego on NBC. If you want to watch the episode but are not sure when or where check out bonniehunt.com.

Forrest, the Kinkajou; Tinkerbell, the opossum, and Raji, the binturong, are all scheduled to make an appearance, along with a baby Zebra and bear cub. Oh so cute.

Last time Bonnie Hunt had animals on her show a baby squirrel got lost in her shirt. I wonder what they will get up to this time.

Brandon McMillan, the host of “Night” on Animal planet, will be the lovely animal expert and keep your eyes peeled for some of our Zookeepers, when they make their quick appearances during the exchanges.
