A Little About Zoofari…
Zoofari is an organization that provides not only a safe haven for unwanted or confiscated animals, but also reaches out to disadvantaged youth by providing funding for animal programs and supports various conservations programs.
Each animal that comes to the facility has a story. Take for example Olivia, an Owl Monkey, who was rescued in an animal cruelty raid or Diablo, a Coatimundi, who has a severe case of Arthritis and would most likely not survive in the wild. Due to Diablo’s condition he must be medicated daily to control the pain. Regardless of his situation, spending a few moments sitting with him and giving him scratches is rewarding enough. Without Zoofari, these animals might not have received a second chance and it’s the animals that make Zoofari the special place it is.
In order to sustain such an amazing organization, the facility looks to the public for support through donations and volunteers, without which Zoofari would cease to exist.
