Baby Zebra visits Chelsea & Dave Salmoni
Dave Salmoni from Animal Planet appeared on the Chelsea Handler show last night with this cute baby zebra, Benson the African White Backed Vulture, and our very own Python Pugsley!
Today, Sleepy, Spice and Sitka made a TV appearance on San Diego Living. It was an exciting event because it was Sitka’s first time back in the spotlight. He was a little nervous but he did really well considering it was his first day back on the job. All the animals looked cute as ever while trying to promote Zoofari and reminding people that an animal adoption is a great gift to give someone this holiday season.
You might remember this Video from a couple months Back! Well now Annie and Armando have made their red carpet debut on the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. Dave Salmoni was kind enough to present the two as they officially announced they are going steady. The two armadillos enjoy afternoon naps together in the San Diego sunshine. Armando joined the wild wonders family over 6 months ago and it was about time that they made it official!!
Finn, one of our Fennec Foxes, will be making an appearance on the Bonnie Hunt show!
The show will air on Monday 9/14 at 2pm on KNSD. That is either channel 7 or 39. On the show will be Animal Planet’s Dave Salmoni and of course our baby Finn.

The evening will benefit the mission of Zoofari in its quest to provide funding for quality conservation education and support for its partners in rainforest conservation.

It will amaze you just how much work goes into a 10 minute TV segment. A lot of time is dedicated to these great performance and making sure they run as smooth as possible.
In this very special Tonight Show episode with Conan O’Brien. Brandon McMillianand Conan get up close and personal with Pugsley, our 14 ft albino Burmese python. You have seen videos of him chowing down on his lunch, you have seen him stretched out in the sun, but I am sure you have never seen Puglsey like this. Even Conan was surprise by his strength.
Jackie, the Director of Wild Wonders, and Kim, the Animal Care and Program Supervisor, made the short trip up to LA Universal Studio where they prepared all the animals for their star appearance on the Tonight Show. Each animal goes through rehearsals then a quick break before their big debut. It is important to keep them relaxed but energized so they put on a great show.
Watch for Kim and Jackie as they make an appearance carrying in Pugsley.
