Zoofari Foundation
Zoofari is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and housing of unwanted, non-releasable or confiscated wildlife, both at the local and national level. In partnership with Wild Wonders, Inc., Zoofari provides access to wildlife education programs for disadvantaged youths. All of the Zoofari animals act as animal-ambassadors for education programs on wild life preservation and conservation topics. In addition to supporting outreach programs designed to reach disadvantaged youth and involve them in conservation, Zoofari also supports grassroots conservation efforts internationally to help save endangered species.
Zoofari works closely with Wild Wonder’s professional staff to provides a safe, healthy environment for their animals to live and educate. Through expert animal care and enrichment, these animals can live out a happy and healthy life while giving back to the community as “creature-teachers”.
